Ceramic Coating vs PPF

Both services protect your vehicle — but they serve very different purposes.

Ceramic Coating

Best for: Gloss, slickness, and easier maintenance

What Ceramic Does Well:

  • Extreme shine and slick feel

  • Strong hydrophobic (water-repelling) properties

  • Easier washing and drying

  • Protection from UV, oxidation, and contaminants

What Ceramic Does NOT Do:

  • Will NOT stop rock chips

  • Will NOT prevent impact damage

  • Will NOT self-heal scratches

Think of ceramic coating as paint enhancement plus chemical protection.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Best for: Physical paint protection

What PPF Does Well:

  • Stops most rock chips

  • Absorbs minor impacts

  • Self-heals light scratches

  • Provides the highest level of paint preservation

What PPF Alone Does NOT Do:

  • Slightly less slick than standalone ceramic

  • Typically installed on high-impact areas (unless full vehicle wrap)

Think of PPF as physical armor for your paint.

HITEK 10-Year Limited Warranty (PPF)

HITEK stands behind the performance of PPF Ultra with a 10-year limited warranty covering:

  • Film integrity defects

  • Yellowing or discoloration from UV exposure

  • Cracking, peeling, or bubbling under normal use

Warranty Conditions

  • Valid for the original purchaser

  • Film must be installed by an authorized HITEK installer (All the Details, LLC is proud to be an authorized HITEK installer)

  • Proper maintenance guidelines must be followed

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or environmental fallout is excluded

If a covered issue occurs, All the Details, LLC will repair or replace the affected areas per warranty terms.
